Maternity bras and nursing bras

Getting the right pregnancy and, if you plan to breastfeed, nursing bra can be difficult.

There’s no denying that your breasts change in a variety of ways throughout pregnancy, one of the most noticeable ones being in size. The larger your breasts become, the more support you need.

There is however, conflicting evidence that underwired bras are bad for you during pregnancy and nursing. I have put together a small list of some of the issues with wearing a bra that is too small when pregnant/nursing:

• Obstruction of increased blood flow to your breasts.
• Discomfort and inflammation.
• Tightening on developing milk ducts.

Overall, I think most women prefer to have a comfortable fitting bra especially when pregnant and the general outlook is that most women during this time preferred non wired. So, if your beginning your bra search good luck, there are so many option out there now!
